“Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.” – James Baldwin

CYFA believes in the transformative power of collective action to build safe, healthy, and thriving communities for all children, youth, and families. The Campaign to Amplify Racial Equity (CARE) invites you to engage in meaningful learning, reflection, and action to dismantle the systems of oppression that continue to harm underrepresented, disadvantaged, or excluded communities. CARE challenges participants to understand the historical impact of racism in this country, recognize the ongoing effects of systemic racism in our communities, normalize conversations about race and racism, and engage in actions to eliminate these inequities, ultimately creating healthier communities for youth and families.
Who?
The Campaign to Amplify Racial Equity (CARE) is for individuals and communities committed to racial justice and equity.
What?
CARE is a program designed to educate, engage, and inspire action to address systemic racism and promote equity.
How?
Through learning modules, conversations, and community involvement, CARE equips participants with the tools to recognize and challenge racial inequities
Why?
