Valyncia is a general business lawyer and strategic leader with deep experience in litigation (particularly involving intellectual property) and in a highly regulated industry resolving marketing, sales, and compliance issues.  Currently, she is a senior-level in-house attorney in the consumer-packaged-goods industry.

Prior to going in-house in 2014, Valyncia was a partner at a boutique law firm in Washington, D.C., after having worked at AmLaw 100 Firms.  In firm practice, Valyncia spent over a decade as a litigator protecting trademark and other intellectual property rights of high-profile companies.

Over the last 18 years, Valyncia has primarily advised Fortune 500 companies with well-known consumer-facing brands and is therefore well-versed in the goals and challenges of such companies.  As a thinking partner with senior leadership and the various business teams that she has supported over the years, Valyncia has successfully worked with them to meet their business objectives of increasing revenue and reducing unnecessary costs.

In her spare time, Valyncia (a formed D-1 soccer player) participates in CrossFit and volunteers with civil rights organizations.
