Please continue to get comfortable in your vulnerability as we reflect upon and answer the following questions:
- What are your thoughts and feelings after reviewing the materials? What surprised you? What did you learn?
- Consider keeping a log of your daily experiences. As you move about the day, notice the racial composition of the people around you. What percentage of the day are you with people of your own racial identity?
- Who are your 5 closest friends? What is the racial mix of your social circle? How much time do you spend with these 5 friends? How often do you talk about race or racism?
- How much of your day are you speaking about race or racism? With whom are you engaging? Who is missing and why?
- Reflect upon what an anti-racist society might look like, and how we can actively build it. Explore your role in creating an anti-racist society.
