Niasha John is a probation and substance abuse counselor with Arlington County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court in Arlington, Virginia.  She has served is this capacity for 15 years, and she has worked in the criminal justice field for 20 years. Niasha’s work focuses on providing services to children and families through service as a partner working to solve complex issues affecting system-involved youth. Niasha graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland at College Park and has a Masters of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Baltimore.  She also has a certificate in Leadership and Management from University of Maryland Global Campus.  Niasha is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
