The Listen Learn Lead Summit is a free, all-day event where middle and high school students like you can come together to connect, learn, and lead. You’ll have the chance to hear real stories, dive into interactive workshops, and gain the knowledge to tackle important issues that matter to you and your peers. It’s all about sparking new ideas, making connections, and becoming a change agent to create healthier, safer, and more inclusive schools and communities. Is It Really That Bad?” – Dependency and Effects of Vaping on the Body and Relationships

Body Image and Empowerment: Understanding Media’s Influence on Health and Self-Perception

Representation in Film: Empowerment & Role Models

Learn: Understand the impact of representation in media and how it shapes our identities, values, and aspirations.

Culturally Diverse Cuisines: A Healthy Future for Students and the Earth

Lead: Embrace and share the richness of cultural cuisines, while advocating for a healthier, more inclusive, and sustainable future for both students and the Earth.

Know Your Rights: Empowering Teens in School and Beyond

LearnUnderstand key legal protections and rights within your school and community, including how to navigate challenges and advocate for yourself when necessary.

LeadEmpower yourself and others by standing up for your rights and creating a more informed, respectful environment in your school and community. Become a resource for others by sharing what you’ve learned about legal protections and how they apply to everyday situations.

Balancing Act: Managing Academic Pressure and Life Outside the Classroom

Facilitators:

Listen: Hear from students, counselors, and educators about the challenges of balancing schoolwork, extracurriculars, and personal life, and how to navigate the pressures that come with it.

Learn: Discover strategies for managing stress, setting priorities, and creating a balanced schedule that works for you. Learn how to take care of your mental and physical well-being while excelling academically.

Lead: Take charge of your own balance by implementing the tools and techniques you’ve learned. Share your experiences and help others find ways to manage academic pressure in a healthy and productive way.

American Voices: Exploring Identity Through Art

Facilitators:

Listen: Hear diverse stories from individuals of different backgrounds as they share their personal experiences of what it means to be American. Through these stories, participants will understand the many ways identity is shaped by culture, community, and history.

Learn: Explore how art can express the complexities of identity, belonging, and cultural heritage. Participants will learn how different forms of creative expression—whether visual arts, music, or spoken word—can communicate personal and collective interpretations of being American.

Lead: Through art-making activities, participants will create their own works inspired by their unique experiences and understandings of what it means to belong to this country. By sharing creations, participants will foster discussions on unity, diversity, and the shared American experience, while developing leadership in expressing and understanding varied identities.

Productivity and Power: How Young People Can Drive Meaningful Change
